Work Environment

Phlebotomists work mainly in hospitals, medical and diagnostic laboratories, blood donor centers, and doctors’ offices.

How to Become a Phlebotomist

Phlebotomists typically enter the occupation with training and test preparation. Almost all employers look for phlebotomists who have earned professional certification. Here at Veritas we train and prepare you to sit for the National Health career Association Phlebotomy Technician Examination!

Hands on practice is included within the program, therefore students do get clinical experience and learn venipuctures in the class. Once students are completed with the program they are then eligible to sit for the national phlebotomy exam to become certified.
